brand identity & labels
The goal for this project was to develop a brand name and strategy for a company that sells hand-made Mexican products. In collaboration with the client, we picked the name Uadá, which means agave in the prehispanic language Otomi. This name targets the brand as a reference for culture and handcraft appreciation, besides promoting fair trade with Mexican artisans.
We designed an icon that represents an agave heart as a scientific illustration. This element makes reference to the process of extraction for the agave syrup, as well as the heart and soul poured into crafting each of their products.
This project was developed in collaboration with designer Alejandra Antón.
